Just my my 6.7 back from the dealer (replace turbo), they had new 08 6.7 on the lot, it had bluetec badge on the tailgate, What does bluetec meen?

 

that is just the name for the clean air DPF equipped diesel exhaust. same as you have/all 6.7s have they just added a badge for some reason on the 08s.

look on your window sticker (if you have it) right under the subtotal of all the options there is a rectangular box that says BLUETEC Ultra-clean Diesel System $995 and then lists what that consists of.

 

Oh.....I thought they put them on 08's as a Lemon badge when they figured out most of the 07's were..................

LOL, Don't be too hard on PJS, he is in the process of having his 07 Lemoned, so I think he has the right to say his piece.

 

well i just thought it was a legitimate question and was trying to help. but it seems he new the answer and his post had no Merritt except making me look foolish for answering it.

At first it made me think of the line, "Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are!" from Larry the Cable Guy, but I guess not funny to all thanks to Dodge sitting on their hands.....

Are they actually doing anything to rectifiy the issues?
