I don't unless I am going to check the oil.

I shut er down cause most fuel stations that i've been to (excluding truckstops) have the stickers that say shut off your engine and no smoking.

I have to, my fass bypasses so much at idle it will build up pressure(I guess) and blow fuel out at me. That was not a good surprise on a cold winter morning! But, I never did before the fass.

...sometimes yes, sometimes no.
No real reason, just depends on my mood.

Nope. I would rather leave it running. Ain't it bad to shut a diesel off then start it right back up again? That's how I grew up. Anything less than 5 minutes, leave it running.

Depends on what I was doing before I pulled in. I always let it idle a minute or two anyway. If I have just pulled off the interstate towing, I will let it idle 5 full minutes and shut it down. I take longer than 5 minutes to refuel so mine always winds up turned off. As long as the turbo has cooled off, I don't see any problem with shutting it off.

Depends some times I do sometimes I don't. If Ive been pulling for a while I will not I just go to the truck side they don't have any stickers on the pumps. Also I thouht the shutdown law didn't apply to diesels.

I shut down. I check the oil and drain any water from the fuel filter. Probably not necessary, but DC recommends it.

if it's not at full operating temps, or the cab is cold and I've only drivin a few miles I'll leave it runnin, or if it's hot outside I'll leave it runnin for the AC. No point in shutting it off, then gettin back in a cold or hot truck. And usually I have women in the truck that I have to keep happy!!!
