Hi. Which diesel van do you think is better? Nothing newer than maybe 2002 (too expensive). Rich

 

A lot of people have had good luck with the fords that have the 7.3's in them. The early duramax ones were a little problematic but the later ones were pretty good. I would stay away from anything with an electronic(94 or newer) 6.5 in it.

Too bad that you are not looking at newer stuff since the sprinter is really nice.

 

I'd go Ford. The GM 6.5 is a time bomb.

 

For pre 2002 definitely Ford . The early GM diesels were junk .
