Which one for pressure - EZ or Van Aaken C3.1

Looking for a mild pressure box to boost the low end performance a little. Wondering which of the two mentioned offers the best results?

Both are good boxes. But to me the advantage goes to VA. The VA can be turned off and has boost fooling.
The VA is stronger at the lower rpms than the EZ, but the EZ is stronger at the top end.

I like the EZ. But you can't turn it off. You can put it to level one which isn't much pressure than stock. I run one with a Stage 3 pump from Floor It and have no problems. There are 3 settings on it.

The va3.1 is a mild pressure box that works well with smarty and tst. The va3.1 will boost rail pressure in the lower rpms and back down when not accelerating. It will make 60hp on 100% by it self.

With the mods on my truck the EZ stacked with Smarty put down over 634/1500 so it isn't to bad.

I like the mp-8. You can adjust the pressure exactly where you want it. Very nice when you have a rail gauge...

Sales at VA was a little concerned about using the 3.1 on an '06 because the rail pressure has already been raised over '04 and '05. He didn't think there would be any problems, but just wanted to mention it for extra security.

Any comments?

I'm still diggin my VA C3.1, and now it's stacked with Smarty and everything is just right. I think a small pressure box should come stock, because they work so well on the lower end.

Your sig shows an Edge Juice. Why did you replace it with the Smarty? Problems?

The HOT Juice is still on there, as I haven't disconnected it yet. The Smarty is simply smoother and more responsive than the Juice is. No problems with boxes at all.

MP-8 or VA3.1 are both far better than the EZ.

I'll be getting the Dr. Performance Predator or MP-8.
