Just finished pickin one up..

Saw several things that i liked.. Hmm, lets see the article about the two father son duos who built some serious rigs, Cummins powered 12V's yeah i liked that.. The fact that one of those rigs might be in the 9's is scary! The seven second dragster, and the 8 second ram, all once again cummins powered vehicles, and this was supposed to be a ford dominated issue? So much so that teh only gmc in that issue was refered to as an F350, anyone else catch that?

I think maddog has some serious folk on his tail, 1100 hp truck and a nine second runner? YEOWZERS!!

I looked at the new edition,but didn't purchase it,looked to much like a Ford commercial. The editor drives a new power-stroke and goes on in this issue how the ford power-stroke is the best heavy-duty diesel ever built and maybe it is?? He does point out that ford sales more HD diesels than general moters and DC combined.,maybe the next issue's will have more gm/Dc articles.

 

I agree. I thumbed through the 2nd issue and thought I picked up an issue of 'Fabulous Fords Diesel Magazine'! Needless to say I put it back on the rack.

Well..

the cummins is very well respected in that issue though, Funny tho in the 250 road test the FX4 didnt come with a limited slip rear axle, and yes the magazine was biased. I liked the issue, but the biasness and reall suckup factor just detered me, i read it and filed it away.. (IE chunk in the supercab of the ride) Oh yeah the girl from TST performance is hott!!! I still laugh at the F350 GMC too


PS what is the deal with the rumored CUMMINS V 8????? that cannot be good.. or right... Hey DP is the source and the FX4 article..
