In Atlanta I have noticed that in non American owned stations they are more for diesel. I drive the extra mile or two and save. It may not be much but I feel better spending my money with someone who does not put the screws to you.

2.35 for diesel out here on Guam. The prices for fuel are a little more controlled than in the states. Only 3 brands of fuel out here, Shell, Mobil, and 76.

Just did an overnight jump from $1.87 to $1.98 at the 2 stations I frequent.
(I smell Labor Day shenanigans)

Regular unleaded is $1.96.

I could drive 15 miles out of my way and get Diesel for $1.91 at the Flying J.

Sounds like to me that the oil companies are getting ready to sell home heating oil at a huge loss to them again this year............

I have seen those stations, as I live in Roanoke. I was concerned that those stations were not high enough volume. Have you had any experiences getting bad gas from any of those places? The Pilot truck stop near my house is a rip-off. 1.87 last I looked.

Texhawg, No problem with buying diesel anywhere. I have found the Shamrock station in Saginaw on Main st is usually at least 5 cents cheaper than anywhere else. It is not far off 820.

What really makes me mad... In south Georgia on I85 it is 1.80 to 1.85 a gallon, but Flying J on I 20 (Temple Ga) it is only 1.63 a gallon. 1.80 in Alabama.

I filled up in Dublin, CA at a 76 station for 1.99 on Friday, .20 cheaper than anyplace else. Still cost me almost $140 for my 70 gallons, But that will get me by for a couple months.
A few weeks ago, on a run from Chelan, WA to my home in Tracy, CA on 97 (most of the way), I passed through the Yakima Indian Reservation in Eastern Washington and found diesel on the reservation for 1.8?. A lot cheaper than anyplace else in Eastern Washington. They had reservation and nonreservation prices for gas, but diesel was all one price. I topped off there and that held me until Fiday, when I topped off in Dublin.
Since I bought my PU last November, I've never spent over $2 a gallon for diesel, but I fear I won't be able to say that much longer.

Prices are getting out of hand here in North Texas!

The truck stop where I usually fill up, and is about the cheapest around, went up $.08 in the past week. Prices are running from $1.899 to $1.959 at most places.

If GW wants to win this election, all he has to do is lower fuel prices!

I paid 1.87 for my last tank, regular gas is about 1.77?! Little town of Fuquay-Varina, NC-near Raleigh. Noticed #2 at 1.92 near I-40 and 42.
