I saved mine, dont plan on putting it back in.

I like the increased whistle from the turbo, doesnt bother me on long trips.

I hear you though man.... drives me nuts to hear high frequency squeals ... some TV's just about drive me around the bend and when I say anything most people in room look at me like I have two heads because they can't hear it. Maybe if they remember that their ears are like their feet... they can wash them too!

It's actually a Ford part. If you look at it real close you can see FORD imprinted at the edge.

My ring didn't have Ford anywhere on it....Oh wait yes,yes it did from where an F-150 got sucked into my turbo. It left an impression of the little blue oval....my bad.

Not to declare myself stupid on this subject (maybe i am) where is the ring ? what side, the cold side ? Is it the that ring that is in front of the impeller ? Can someone post a picture and point it out, please.

mine has been riding in the pocket of my driver door for about 50K miles....

and the truck does not even run that turbo anymore. haha.

I am about to trade off the 341 so it will most likely leave my door then.
