Cummins What?
Hey all, nice site. I'm looking to buy a Diesel soon and wondering about Cummins engines, in Dodges, as far as technology, hp., ect, over the last couple of years. What makes a 1998 model different from a 2000? Is a 2000 the same as a 2003?, and so on. I would like to get the most recent model engine with out spending so much on such a new truck. Thanx

There are several folks here that can point you in the right direction.
Besides this site, there is a few other sites out there that have a year by year, generation by generation changes made to the Cummins/Dodge line.
Here is one of the sites with a lot of good tech info that can be broken down year by year.
