C'mon Folks.........

I was at the car wash yesterday getting my truck cleaned up when I notice a sweet lookin straight piped Gen 2 fire up which gets my attention naturally. I look over and what do I see? Some punk purposely driving around in the car wash area goosing it, brake standing it, making it smoke for no reason. Now I'm well aware of the diesel thing, I got one myself that can hold it's own, but the very reason why we get the rep that we do was right in front of me acting like a punk. I don't mind flaunting the power if needed, shutting down ricers and the like, but when there's nobody around that gives a !@#$ in a parking lot with people in it?? With great power comes great responability grasshopper, it's people like that who make us all look bad. I enjoy my 14 sec 1/4 miles, 20+ mpg, 456HP/812TQ like the rest of us, but dude, grow up!!

Big Horn I agree 110%, did you say something to the ingrade ? I would have. How else is he going to learn, in fact I would have done more than just say something, maybe a fat ticket from the p.d. was in order.

In all groups there are people who use bad judgement or have no common sense. Myself being a motorcyclist all it takes is a clown to do stupid things and the public views motorcyclists as bad risky people.

You hear the same thing from all sections - hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, you name it/ There's always one immature moron in the crowd. Nothing much you can do about it.

I have to agree with wanting to make a point with him in the parking lot, but: "Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction."

Until you know more about the individual/situation ya got to let it be. He may be a fool, and not teachable at the moment.

I know where your coming from....We had idoit like that in our Firebird club...Every time we went out on our cruises, this bone head would start to squeal his tires when ever someone was looking...One member got on the two-way radio and said to stop it because someone will call the police and this was happen in the downtown core of Calgary...This was not a young kid,he was in his 40's.....Maybe he had a shorter in his pants and needed attention from people,by squealing around every corner...

I didn't even see what he looked like, by the time I heard it fire up, he was already acting like an azz, did a power brake and then peeled out of the parking lot. The street racer in me wanted to go hunt him down and show him what power really is, he didn't look too impressive when he took off, even with the black trail, but my truck was on the conveyor thing with the brushes and stuff.

Yeah, that would have been the smart thing to do.
