chevys cheaper than a dodge

well i just can't belive it. i just priced out a couple of trucks, 4x4 4 door 3/4 ton diesel 6 speeds. pw,pl,cc,am/fm/cd,cloth interiors. they priced me a chevy at 32600 and the dodge was at 33k. i did this last year and i just called a few places that always shoot me good prices. the chevy was almost 10k more last year for fully decked out trucks with leather. last year the dodge was 35k and the chevy was 45k out the door prices.

i hate to admit this but the duramaxs are a pretty good truck. and i would not chuck one out if i had one. but the more i keep running the #s i really don't want to pay for either one. i will just keep my truck, but i really need more room for the family. my wife likes driving a stick and her 98 is getting pretty cramped when we do a trip. i might just break down and buy a 7.3 power stroke excursion, she won't like the auto but i would like the room. with 3 kids and a dog the ex/quad cabs are kind of small.
i might just drop the big bucks on her 98 and get it made into a true 4 door ex cab. that way i get to keep the cummins.

I saw a Ram 3500 turned into a "Excursion/Suburban" type of thing. Very cool, it was a second gen with a supercharged V-10.

There was a guy at the last Waco get together who brought a truck everyone called "The Lizard".
It looked like it was originally an extended cab, but it had 2 more full size doors added between the front doors and the extended cab portion. I looked around here, but I can't find any pics.

remember, General Motors just instituted the "employee discount" for everyone which would explain the lower price of the Chevy.
