I would have one very hard time on that one.

I believe the Duramax is the better engine but can't stand the looks of the GM products.

I like the looks of the Fords a lot more than the GMs but don't trust the engine.

Where does that leave me?

Hard to say. I think the Ford is a better truck (especially the 4X4's front axle) but I think the GM has the better engine.

I am a die hard ford guy.....Before my purchase last weekend I owned a 2004 F-150, 1995 Mustang GTS and a 1983 Mustang GT (drag car). I use a 2008 F450 with a 6.4for a work truck and I wouldnt own one. I didnt know enough about the duramax and knew tons of people with dodges, that what I based my descion on. If I had to chose it would be a Chevy.

Drove 2 diff 6.0 for work and left me on side of road numerous times. My wife (I) owns a 2004 Dmax and we love it. Still love my CTD a lot more, but no complaints about the Dmax.

same here, i like the dmax engine but hate the ifs and the auto. i like the looks of the ford and comfort, i think ford made them comfortable so when your broke down on the side of the road its easier to fall asleep in haha.. love the cummins and g56 and it has good looks but hate in interior.

A Ford with a Duramax would work for me also, but I would miss the sound of true power!

I've been driving a '92 Rally Van with a 6.2 in it lately. Although it is gutless, I'm learning to like that motor, really good on fuel.

And you can't beat the GM ride, so I would look for a GM crew cab with a 6.2 (no electronics) and a 4l80 (4 speed with lock up) in it.

You could not even give me a Ford. If I was forced I would drive it straight to the lot and trade it in. I hate the new Chevy body style, but would still take that over a Ford. Please dont make me switch.

I should have kept my 2000 7.3, motor wise its better than the 06 6.0 I have right now, straight piped though you can't beat the sound of the 6.0.
