Looks like a device for getting stuck. A tag axle that can't be retracted is a pain in the butt.

Did they dip the truck in Armor All?

I think it's a sweet looking truck for someone who needs it for work. Why would anyone buy that for daily driving anyway?

I think $70k could have been spent better, but to each their own. I certainly wouldn't want it myself.

Just curious, in what type of situation would that apply?

Looking at the petina on the compressor housing, I'd stay away on that fact alone. I've never seen one that dark.

LOL I could just see that... You back across a slight ditch and the far rear axle starts to go up one side of the ditch, and the driven axle just gets lifted right up into the air...Or imagine driving on some real sandy terrain, the far rear axle prevents the driven axle from getting full traction, then the driven axle just digs all the sand out from under it, the guy tries putting it in 4WD and the front just sinks like a rock... and then you wish you would have bought a dodge and just put a regular flatbed on it .

I kind of like the car hauler. It seems functional, at least. I know a couple rodders who use old roll-offs to haul the rods and drag cars to the shows instead of box trailers, so this would be cool. I don't know if anyone could haul enough vehicles with it for business, other than maybe a reposetion company or something. Then, a stealth bar would be better!
