Buying new truck

That's what I bought...'06/5.9 Basically did not want the emissions crap and 1st year production issues.

The 6.7 appears to be proving it's reliability and it sounds like the DPF issues and MPG issues are being resolved.

Personally, I do like the 5.9; old school tried and true!

I'm looking forward to the 2010s. Long-bed crew-cab (with the ram box?) and upgraded interior is looking pretty good to me. They should have the few 6.7 gremlins worked out by now- tried and proven engine & auto tranny.
