buying a new truck

Just recently my dad bought a 02' cummins 5 spd. and i've fell in love with the truck, so now i want one of my own. So now ill be trading in my 94' dodge 360 for a cummins around the same year, and if i have to i'll get the older style and definatley a 5 spd. So is there anything that i should look for in terms of problems and how many miles is too many b/c i know these things, if treated right, will run forever.

If anyone knows of one close to my location, Nebraska, please tell me.

Thanks in advance.

It may be more of a challenge to find a clean truck where you are at due to your rural location (farm trucks). Autotrader may be a good place to start. We did take in a 4x4 truck thursday or friday that is a 4x4 manual. I'll give it a look and see how it is if you don't mind flying to Vegas to pick it up if you bought it. I don't work in sales and don't make a dime off the car deals, but when a nice CTD comes in I'll let people know about it. It took me a long time to find that "just right" truck.
