My question is, is if that is a PS how can he afford so much space under the hood for a turbine he stole from the local hydroelectric dam?

It looks like the batteries were relocated, and the inner fenders (the sheetmetal) also appear to have been removed.

The other one is out of sight, you acn see the plumbing going to it, it is in the back of the engine bay, and kind of low. They are hard to see on the 7.3

An HX82 on a PowerStroke?? How many RPM is that thing turning! That charger is what some of the Modified pullers run!

It's large!

I have ridden in the truck several times and it spools pretty darn fast and when it does it is nuts. It makes 98 pounds.

yeah, I used to have a Powerstroke, and I am still on thedieselstop.com boards; that truck is a old body style Ford, single cab with flames and 20's, pretty neat looking. I have read that they can't get it to hook up (in 4x4) on the street for squat. Should be great competition for Snow White, the Diesel Innovations Powerstroke

Zane and his shop Wide Open Perf. are one heck of a nice honest bunch of guys. No drama, no B.S. unlike many of the other shops including the one Snow White is from.
I have seen this truck on the street and on the dyno, it's VERY impressive. At the dyno they couldn't keep the shop exhaust hose on the truck.

That is very true I trust WOP and all the guys there as much as anyone I know, I can't tell you how many times Zane has saved me money.

Just a couple weeks ago a guy was over on tds showing timeslips for 11.8's or so. IIRC he is a very good friend of Zanes, so he probably knows the scoop. Snow White runs high 11's on fuel also and low 11's on spray.

Looks like that poor tire could use a heat shield.

Wonder what RPM that HX-82 lights at?
