We have a '08 Duramax at work with 150k on it, besides regular maintenance nothing has been done to the engine.
It's a joy to tow with. I moved a 16k pound tractor with it a few weeks ago, just set the cruise control and go.
Pretty cool how the Alison would up and down shift going over the Rockies right at the speed limit.
I like the Duramax but will never buy one, I'll be keeping my 12 valves instead.

Thx lastcall, I don't know if the trans has been into.
I still kick myself for selling the 9812v but every time I mash the go pedal and hear the 305s talking the pain gets less and less...
