Back again...this time with a CTD!

I listed my '96 Ford F-250 PSD 4x4 up on eBay about 2 weeks ago. It sold for the Buy It Now price on the last day of the auction. The guy came the next evening and dropped $9k cash in my hand. The truck is now in Mexico hauling cattle. Kind of a shame because it was such a nice rig.

With the holidays being here and last weekend I had to attend 2 weddings I was too busy to check out some of the Dodge trucks I had found in my price range. So yesterday, being my first day with nothing planned I set out to test drive and overlook a few of the trucks. I've had my heart set on a 12V Dually with under 180k miles and in overall good shape. Well after picking through 4 of them in 1 day I found one and bought it last night.

It's a '97 3500 Dually Extended Cab 2wd 5-spd with 157k miles. It was a trade-in at a local Dodge dealership and was a 1 owner truck. I'm so stoked right now and happy as a puppy with 2 Edit. Going from that harsh riding, urban-tank of an F-250 to this smooth riding, smooth shifting Ram...I'm grinning ear to ear.

Today I'm headed out to my shop to perform the first modification...the BHAF. Soon will be gauges, exhaust, Hellmann Performance intake manifold, some injectors & pump mods, yadda yadda.

I keep hearing Aerosmith's "Back In The Saddle Again" song over and over again in my head.

I walked out the door for $8,500 cash. I think my money was well spent.

Charlie...yeah, maybe next time you fellas throw down a meet, I'll join up. And maybe I can rally up someone to do the KDP for me while I'm there.

We're all 24v guys.

I watched JB do a KDP at Brains shop one time, and it didn't look very hard. Just a lot of "stuff" to get out of the way to get to it. Bring it on up next time.....I'm getting better and better at drinking beer and supervising.

24 valve...blah blah blah hahahaha

Yeah Charlie, I remember JB doing that KDP at Brian's. I think that was the day Cody was singing love ballads to me while you and I were making sure the beer was staying cold.
