Ain’t scared just concerted (gauges)

Has any one had Dodge try to pull the “hey your warranty is void” because of adding gauges? I want to add gauges on my post. I would like a temp gauge for the tyranny, a fuel pressure gauge and since they give you 3 holes a boost gauge. I have never been a fan of drilling on a vehicle especially one that I purchased the 100k warranty so the whole truck would end its warranties at one time instead of 60k.

The service writer or Dodge has to prove that your modifications will void the warranty - the burdon is on their shoulders. For example: driving / fog lights added to the front bumper (if your vehicle did not have them previously installed) is one of the things that I've heard about before ( I had a major fight with my local dodge dealer cause of the lights I added to my grill guard - I won) as they said it would void my warranty. The same service writer tried to tell me that if I changed the size of my tires it would void the warrenty - edit? LOL

I saw a list somewhere - be damned if I can remember where - of the things you can do that will and will not void your warranty, maybe someone else has seen it and knows where it can be found?

Remember this it is part of the magnusson act the dealer has to prove without any doubt that the modification is what caused the problem. so if your truck burned up because your faulty wiring or you didnt fuse your lights or guages yes the warranty would be voided of course in fire insurance would step in regardless. If your dealer is telling you things like that find a new one they are just greedy and want to charge you for extended warranty and 100+ hour shop time remember scumbag service writers make commission they never have your best interested in mind only their own

It is a good idea to stay on good terms with your dealers service manager.
Just tell him what you want to do, and that you are concerned about the warranty.
You may be worrying about a problem that does not exist.
