700hp / 1700ft in NC

Does anyone know this truck or have any info. Just curious. It's currently in Burlington, NC. Here's the info the used car lot is putting out. BTW it's a 2000 model.

TWIN TURBO 700 HP -TWIN TURBO COMBINATION -5 DISC TORGUE CONVERTER AND TRANS BY GOEREND BROTHERS DIESEL PERFORMANCE -MACH 6 INJECTORS -BUTTERFLYED HEADS -ARP STUDS -NEW DETROIT LOCKER REAREND -GAUGES TO MONITOR FUEL PRES., EXHAUST TEMP., TURBO BOOST, AND TRANS TEMPERATURE. THE TRUCK IS DAILY TUNED AT 43 PSI FOR FUEL ECONOMY AND HAS 1400 FT/LBS. OF TORQUE FOR TOWING, BUT WHEN NEEDED THE TWIN SETUP CAN BE RAISED VIA ADJUSTMENT OF WASTEGATE UP TO 85 PSI (SAFELY) PUTTING DOWN OVER 1700 FT/LBS. OF TORQUE IT GETS 21-27 MPG UNLOADED AND 14-20 MPG LOADED

Here's the link to their site.

you outta buy that truck, if the power is true that would be a fast truck anyway with a stock motor. It would be fun to pick on cars with. Ya whats a butterfly head, do they mean ported/polished maybe. Looks like bd twins to me too.

Sounds like a load of hogwash to me..

i do not see how 43 psi can make much over 450 rwhp, much less 1400 ft lbs, i would expect MAYBE from others on here with similar mods about 1000 ft lbs MAX. 700 rwhp perhaps with nitrous... but im not buying the 1700 ft lbs of tq..

I wouldn't bet money that I haven't seen it before, but I sure don't recognize it.

If it has done to it what it says is done to it, I have no doubt it makes the claimed power. Big props to whoever built it; that thing is a classic sleeper. First thing I'd do with that baby is put stock-looking exhaust on and hide the gauges under the dash, and you'd be stealing ricer pink slips left and right.

And for only $12,000? God that's a deal. That is a crazy deal. Mary mother of Jesus with Joseph cherries on top that's a sweet deal. That would be a sweet deal if it had connecting rods thrown through the side of the block; Ezekiel, Jacob, Abraham and Bubba that is a screamin' deal. Is it really that hard to sell something that modified, or is that just a bait price?

NO arguin with doug on this one

and comparin with Rjohnsons 600 plus truck, this one is a step above, perhaps with nitrous it is done and can be done, but the TQ is not believeable.. Perhaps these trucks fuel much differently than my 12V does, OR if it is as low as 45 psi, it must be 45 psi of perfectly cool, ultra dense air that has passed thru an aftermarket intercooler, OR been hit with a blue bottle.. it just seems weird for me, but i have always seen it as roughly 1 psi for every 10 hp, but then again im at 60 psi and 514 rwhp, so that goes to show how well my theory works...

no 24v truck has made 700 on fuel alone if Im not mistaken. And certainly not on mach 6's.If theyre bd twins then no way theyd cool those numbers either.Still i bet on 550 at the wheels, and its a good deal if the trucks in working order.Whod run their s300 to 85 psi??????

first, the truck has one 'head', so if it has 'butterflied heads' then watch out for a truckload of BS.

no way that truck is putting down that MPG, or HP, or TQ, another load of BS.

those look like off the shelf BD twin turbos, and wont flow the amount of air that requires 700hp. go look at BD's site, and it will tell you what the turbos can support.

I say dont buy that truck, specifically because the seller doesnt know squat about what he is selling, and wants to rip you off

Its probably a 600hp truck, his numbers are a touch high, but 600/1200 isnt unrealistic if its got no boost or exhaust leaks, and a good inj/lift pump.i bet it does get over 20mpg hiway,a low riding 2wd auto/3.55 will run 1700rpm at 65mph. You couldnt buy the transmission and head/twins/sticks for what he wants for the truck. For the guy looking to go fast on the cheap, and who can do his own wrenching it may be a great deal.
