My first question is does goerends even build a 5 disk converter? Secondly, those are definately the BD twins and while I've seen them cool 600hp with water/meth I highly doubt that they are doing it at 700. Especially at 85psi. I think BD recommends no higher than 65? I say go and drive it. With that kinda power you should be able to keep those tires boiling smoke up to at least 70mph from a standing start with no boosted launch. With a boosted launch I'd be surprised if they ever caught.

that is dtr member Storx 's truck, in his sig he claims 591hp with some custom bd twins and jammer stage 5's.
i use to send him pm's to ask questions about his setup and he would never answer them. this made me think he was lying about his setup and now he really is. hes the one that claims to have rebuilt his tranny 5 times or so by himself and said it was easy.
he was also the one that started that thread: how much performance is to much????here is the thread https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ighlight=storx
and everyone got super mad at him. check his sig out.

OMG!!! I know that truck!!! The guy used to be stationed here at MCAS Cherry Point, might still be, I just haven't seen the truck... Let me start by saying those are BD twins and the #'s are waayyyyy off... that thing has been rode hard and put up wet!!! He used to run it up at the New Bern 1/8 mile strip on the weekends... His roomate or buddy was at the auto hobby shop when I was installing my SPS 62 and he said that his buddies truck ran 115 pounds of boost and bla, bla, bla. I told him that even if those little BD twins could handle that much boost they would be major heat pumps. He gave me a thousand yard stare... He came back with drag cars run that much, I was busy, so I said you have some home work to do if that's what you think...

I won't even come close to claiming I know something about bombing a CTD. But I know a B.S. artist when I see one. Just by looking at his sig he sounds like guys I new back in high school that said they put a Holley dominator on a Chevy inline 6 and made 1000hp without any other mods. If your spouting off at the mouth like that the truck probably isn't worth half that, if it still runs.

So member RJohnson can make 632 HP/ 1533 ft-lbs with BD twins, a Smarty, a TST COMP, water/ methanol injection and Mach 4 injectors.

How is that perfectly legitimate, but the same set-up with Mach 6 injectors isn't? The guy never said that he wasn't having cooling issues; rather, he said he had his wastegates set up to open early so that he wouldn't have cooling issues.

And by any means, the consensus is that he is making at least 600 horsepower, right? Great deal notwithstanding.

I dont doubt Rjohnson

the proof is in the dyno sheets, What i dont understand, is how a simple change in valve springs pushes the TQ readin 300 or so ft lbs...

R johnsons truck is running a water/meth setup and makes about the best numbers Ive seen a set of bds make. His injector turbo combo seems to be perfect
