700 HP without programmer

hi guys

i have found dmax here in germany.

he say he have 700 HP without Programmer , only mechanical tuning....

if this right to make 700 HP without programmer?

Chrigu, I don't know answer to your question, try pm durotothemax on this forum, he is very very knowledgeable on DMax. Or you could ask on competition diesel, as there are chevy, ford, and dodge racers and pullers on there. Moderators, if this is inappropriate post, sorry, just trying to steer this Swiss fellow to an answer.

Chrigu,
It seems hard to believe that a computer controlled engine like the Dmax could make that kind of power without programming. Does the seller have dyno sheets?

With a 12v, all-mechanical Cummins, this is no problem. But with any computer controlled engine (from 1998-on) some sort of programming modification is necessary to get past even 600hp or so.

700 hp on stock parameters, I don't believe so. Computer controlled engines need additional programming to make over 500-600hp because it needs to get past the stock safeguards in the computer which will limit it. Torque management for example.

I don't see it happening. Just the size of injectors alone that it would take would need something to do timing to make it happen.

i dont see how the duramax would hold up plus isnt everything on those motors computer controlled
