Is a 6" tip pushing it?

Just ordered my 5" straight pipe exhaust kit . Now I'm stuck between deciding whether I should get a 5" to 5" or 5" to 6" chrome tip. Either way I'm going to weld it on.

I've got an oversized margarita cup from Kahunaville that I got in Vegas a few weeks back sitting on my desk. I was looking at it and thinking "man that would be funny if a 6" tip is as big as this cup..." Well, just measured its diameter and it is! So what you guys think? 5" to 6" tip and set off car alarms, or 5" to 5" tip and no false advertising (still setting off car alarms)?

Maybe it's just me but there's nothing better than a "BigGun" hanging out the back...GunZ, GunZ, GunZ

Pushing it? Not at the end of a Cummins.

Ok, I just placed an order for a 5x6x18 inch SS tip! Should I just cut the exhaust pipe about 15" and weld the tip on there? Or you think I should just slide the 6" tip over the 5" pipe? Oh man, this is gonna be LOUD! I'm thinking it might even be a little too loud...
