Might take a week or two, but I may be able to get the manuals for it. I'll check with the mechs at work next week. What series is it for sure. M-???

Not a M?, if it is a 855. That would be a 14L.

No, talking the military M-designation for the truck itself. From that, I may be able to get the actual manuals from operation to overhaul of the entire truck.

Ah, OK. In a recent FourWheeler mag, there was story on one. It had a N/A 855 in it also. Had some specs. I have the mag somewhere, can't find yet. It was a Small Cam, IIRC.

Try this website http://www.g503.com/ It's a forum just like this one but it deals with military vehicles. These are great bunch of guys that should be able to help you out. Just go to the message board and scroll down to the 2 1/2 ton + section.

Speaking of... I just got back from Osan AB, Korea and there was a totaled out 5T (one of the newer auto tranny ones) sitting in the parking lot of the school I was attending. It had a Cummins 8.3 Turbo in it. A Big Holset on it too, man was I tempted to do some salvage. Would have been tough to take back thru Customs...- Steve

Double check the M-81. Not finding it in the data base at work. If you still need the info, get back to me and I'll see what I can do.

yes its a M-800,series. There was like 7 or 8 diff. Models. This one is a Gargo Truck, with the extended bed. I am not shure but I think the M813 is the Cargo Truck series.

Can get you all the Manuals on the M-800 and M-900 Series trucks from tear down to rebuild on every componet if interested, with the Cummins in them. Currently Ft. Hood Mechanic here in Texas have access at work on all files if wanted. Shoot me a PM with email because they are not small files at all. Each book is over 1000 pages and they are about 8 books per seires.
