Well today, I "pulled the trigger" and made a deposit on a new 2008 2500 SLT 4WD 6 speed manual Regular Cab.

I'm working in the "muddle east" now but will return in June. (Can't wait to get out of this H*llhole".) I'd bring a couple of barrels of diesel home with me, but it's just about the same price here as the USA.

Browsing Dave Smith's inventory I saw the first regular cab ever. (I was going to special order one, takes 60-90 days). This one had just about everything I wanted, and since Regualar cabs are pretty rare, I jumped on it and will arrange for my friend to pick it up drive it back to Arizona and at the same time trade in his Buick that he doesn't need anymore. So it all worked out well.

I hope my new signature appears with this post.

 

Congratulations on the new purchase!! Hope you get home safe to enjoy your new toy. Make sure you find something heavy to tow around so its broken in the right way!!!! Gotta love the Cummins!

 

Congrats. That'll be my next truck, reg cab 4x4 with a G56. No more autos or extra cabs for me. And BTW, thank you for "whatever" you are doing over seas.
