5-speed and 6 speed.....

Why is it that i have seen 2001 6 speed models..but have also seen 2001 5 speeds???

The High Output engines were only available with the NV5600 (six speed) behind it. The Standard Output engines were available with the automatic (47RE?) or the NV4500 five speed. You could special order the S.O. with the NV5600 though it is very uncommon to find one configured that way.

alright, thanks...thats what i was wanting to know...what exactly does the "high output" consist of?

It may be only 10 h.p. more, but dont forget the extra torque!
H.O. = 245 hp, 505 lb-ft!
