So, because I'm genuinely curious, are there people besides Dave who don't like Rotella because of the smell?

Are there people besides me that have considered drilling a small hole in your oil pan to smell it more often?

I don't like Rotella because of the price. If it cost less than Delvac 1300 I would love the smell - it would smell like savings.

My definition of "Heaven" consists of equal parts Rotella motor oil and Chandra North.

Since Wannadiesel didn't include that as a poll option, I'll just have to vote for "put it in a bag and huff it". I don't like voting for that one, however, because it makes me sound like some sort of wierdo pervert.

And I thought I did a good job channeling Begle1 when I wrote the poll options... I even worked turkey in there for added realism.

Begle1, you are starting to scare me again. You do know normal people don't want to smell their crank case oil right?

Some would put it on their cereal if the thought it wouldn't hurt them.

To me it has become the sweet smell of success after a nice well deserved oil change. Like Uncle Ned's Belchs (And other flatulence) after a Thanksgiving dinner, its my trucks way of saying "thanks for a great meal, I'm stuffed."

Not exactly.

Ahh, let's try this again...

The goal of this thread is to confirm or discredit your statement through the use of a poll designed to determine the general DTR population's preference in regards to the scent of Rotella motor oil.

Maybe that can sink in...

(Dave, do you see the kind of stuff you put people like Geico through when you don't let me make the polls? )
