i was the dealer ship the other day and there was a bage that said flex diesel. like on the new chevs how it says flex fuel. so what is flex diesel anyone know or seen it on the new trucks. i dont know what this flex fuel really is

 

Never heard of it. The only flex fuel engine for the Ram is the 4.7L V8 gasser.

i know all the new dodges have "BluTec" badges on them now, which is the clean diesel engine stuff. may flex diesel you can run 100% bio or plain #2

 

Only thing I can think of is they mean a biodiesel blend and theyre assuming people are stupid so they call it 'flex' diesel.

 

My guess as well. E85 is similar in naming structure to B20, B99, ect.
