Off Highway Fuel

I know this never happens but I saw a 12v parked at the hospital today with pink snow down the side of his rig...right under the fuel door! This kind of carelessness is gonna get somebody a big fine as well as get us all more closely scrutinized when pulled over or inspected. In looking out for my fellow Cummins guy I waited as long as I could to say something but he never showed. And I never touch anyones car or truck so I just left it. If he gets pulled over he'll learn his lesson I guess.

Maybe it wasn't red fuel, but juices oozing from the bodies he had stashed in the bed.

I think you'd have bitten off more than you could chew had you confronted him.
As we've learned from numerous "Red Fuel" threads here, there isn't much you can say to stop someone from doing it.

Yeah, I know. It just may bring uneeded attention to all of us. I was just gonna say "hey man, you might want to clean that up, we have a stater around here that likes to check for dyed fuel." Because we do. And the rumor is that the fine is the difference in price, per gallon, per mile on the vehicle in question. And not divided by the mileage per gallon! Ouch.

Could have been somone who uses the truck off highway, but had to go to the hospital for some reason or another as well. Doubt that though

i would have to say as far as attention goes, if your running road fuel then who cares, your not breaking the law.let him get dipped. then maybe he'll get the idea that he\she needs-or more appropriately has to pay taxes like all the rest of us. don't get me wrong though, if i was that person you waited for i would have found that to be pretty cool of ya to have stuck around to "inform me" of my blunder. nothing wrong with helping a guy out if you can, but in this case, they have it comming
