newbie to the wmo

I have the hook up on waste motor oil, gear oil, transmission fluid. I have a few concerns. Im pretty sure there is some antifreeze in some of it, is there a filter that will filter it out? And there are a bunch of diiferent types of oils like 5w30, 15w40, synthetics, synthetic blends will these cause problems? I plan on running this in a 91 12 valve cummins and an 88 ford 7.3 idi.

thanks

Best thing to do if it does contain water/antifreeze is to use a centrifugal filter from Dieselcraft. The OC20 with pump isn't cheap though.

No. Will still need a pump. The pump is need to get the pressure up around 90 psi. There's a hub inside the filter that needs to spin up to 7k rpms for the centrifuge to work.

if you have more time than money, you could let the antifreeze settle out and just suck out about a foot above the bottom of the tank. the antifreeze settles pretty quick in warm weather.

this is from experience, by the way but DO NOT run 75% at 25* F...
