I went to the local wal mart today where I always fill up(3.15 today btw), and about halfway through the fill up, I looked down and there was a new sticker that wasn't there the other day that said in fine print "bio-diesel mixture, 10% bio-diesel, 90% petroleum diesel". Whats up with this?? Has anyone else seen this? I wouldn't think it would hurt your truck being so little, but I still don't like it

It wont hurt your truck at all, its actually better for it since theres more lubricity in it. I ran it last year but make sure to dump some power service 911 in when it starts to get really cold. Never mind you live in Texas.

Ok. I didn't think it would hurt, I just thought you had to do some mods to run bio, but I guess since its so little, it really won't make a difference. Ya it doesn't get too cold down here, but we did actually just get a coldfront in, so its colder than usual for october down here. Got down low enough to frost up my truck real good last night. When I left the house this morning it was 36

But have any of yall heard of gas stations doing that? I hadn't seen it before until yesterday

Adding just 2% of biodiesel will increase fuel lubricity level back to the old LSD levels. Europe has been adding 5% bio to diesel for years. It is a GOOD THING to have a bit of bio in there--not to mention, this biodiesel is AMERICAN made.

Look for more bio in your diesel.
Several states have passed laws that haven't taken effect yet that require all diesel to contain varying amounts of bio, usually under 5%.
Minnesota has required all diesel sold in the state to contain 2% bio since 2005.
Haven't heard of many complaints.
Here in Montana it doesn't take effect until enough bio is produced within the state to fill the need.

Also, no mods needed, even for 100% biodiesel (B100). Mods ARE needed for waste veggie oil -WVO- or straight veggie oil -SVO- to heat the oil and keep it hot enough to go through the pump and injectors with the proper spray pattern.

MN has had gel problems with Bio 2 years in a row but they now claim they know why and what caused it to gel and it will not happen again.

I didn't have a problem at all last year. That was just in 05-06 they had an issue, and I never had an issue. I heard that there was a supplier that was having some issues.
