Here is what I'm reading online about the recent spike in diesel prices:
- European economy is booming, therefore requiring more of the global supply
- Low sulfer diesel regulations has slowed down diesel production
These are some reasons that journalists and analists are giving to the public:

A big reason gas & oil are going up.....
The US dollar is in the toilet against all the other countries' currency.
Any and all imported products (like oil) will cost more.
Of course Chinese made toys coated with lead-based paint will still cost about the same.

Just topped off with $2.81 fuel.
I had 15 gallons left from when I drove out to Opal, Va and fueled up a month ago........
I always take my six 5 gal cans when I go out there to get fuel to make the trip worthwhile.

"Sorry Jonny, sorry Suzie the cost of fuel went up again today so it will be Macaroni and Cheese with day old bread again tonight. Tomorrow we'll have ketchup soup and bread crusts".
While its been about 6 years since I had to pay for fuel, the company I work for still pays between $2.80 and $3.00 for clear.
When the fuel bill is around $30,000.00 each month, we manage to get some kind of bulk discount.
My question to you....
How many of you have changed the way you drive?
Have you slowed down much?
Checked and raised the air pressure in your truck tires?
Myself, I drive as efficiently as possible.
I keep my tires @ 80psi, the rpm's down and try to stay within the speed limit.
