Todays price at my local station here in the UK..............( converted to $$ )

Diesel........... $8.94 a gallon

Unleaded........ $8.75 a gallon..

Another increase predicted in the next week or so..

Between the speculation in the oil futures market and the lack of additional near-term refining capacity, we can expect the pump prices to increase - seasonal fluctuations notwithstanding - for the foreseeable future... sure hope Joe 6-Pack Voter wakes up next year on Super Tuesday and yanks the lever for a sane national energy policy (not to mention serious immigration/border control initiatives )

Yeah, you guys south of the 49th have it easy, the ole #2 in Canuckville, well around here anyway i cant talk for the rest of Canada, is $1.07/LITER, so with exchange and conversions we are playin about $4.35/gallon US!

I remember paying less than a dollar a gallon for fuel...

price range 3.459 at mobile and 3.339 at Hess . Fuel oil C.O.D discount price is 2.61 .


I locked in my price for fuel oil at 2.45

i'd definatley be happy with it going below the price of gas.... better yet below 2 bucks a gallon. i filled up two days ago costing me $88 at $3.01 a gallon!!! this is just out of control!!

sorry but it will never be below 2 $ a gallon again.

Dont forget guys that the value of the dollar has dropped a lot. Its worth LESS than the canadian dollar now. Seeing as petroleum is mostly bought from other countries that will have a big effect on prices. We dont produce enough here in the states to make much of a dent in that.
Its going to get worse before it gets better, if at all. =(
