What would you like to pay for #2 at the pump over the long term?

 

I'd be very happy with $.40-$.50 cents cheaper than regular unleaded,
just like it was when I bought the truck.

As long as I'm paying less than the soccer moms with their gas guzzling SUV's, I'm smiling.

That's probably the best answer I'll get if the thread runs up to hundreds of posts... just because I think that price makes the most sense!

Unleaded at $1.96/gallon in Ft. Worth today...

 

Heck I'd be happy if I could find somewhere around here I could pay less than 3 bucks for it.

Since diesel is 40-70 cents more per gallon, I'd be happy if it were the same as regular unleaded. I'd be very happy if it were less. But, I'm generally po'd that it's more.

 

Cheapest place for regular unleaded here is $2.79 so even at $.50 less than regular I think it is over priced. Anymore than $1.25 for #2 is absurd IMO. But then again I am kinda Cheap

GAS is 2.12 here. Diesel is around 2.48. I would be happy with $1 a gallon.

 

Do you guys have a reason to prefer that particular price? Is that how much you WANT it to cost or how much you THINK it should cost?

 

i just filled up yesterday at 2.86 a gallon.. and i was happy to see that price. just 5 minuits away from there diesel is going for 3.15!!! ohh and gas is 2.69.... good thing im invested in oil stocks!! but i wouls be happy with anything under the 2buck range

 

I pay any where from $3.48 Cdn ($3.08 US) a US gallon to $3.82 ($3.38 US).
