Fuel in Norther Indiana pricing!!!!

Came thru Northern Indiana Wed and as I left Michigan got to watching pricing. Indiana was at $3.69.9 for almost 100 miles into the state. What's going on there, I was doiing major complaining in Mich at $3.19-3.29 there.

All I can say is WOW--WHAT A RIP-OFF!

Don

PS. with the new flash on the Quad ZXT box got consistant 20+ mpg at 75+ with my 2004.5. Have 24000 miles now an am very happy. 7000 + lbs getting over 20 mpg. Ain't life grand?

In central Indiana Reg gas $2.50, diesel $3.86! Why?!!!! This is so stupid. I am looking to buy a diesel and this is kind of turning me away!

Guys the thought that diesel should be cheaper than gasoline is a myth anymore!

We all understand that diesel is a byproduct of the gasoline manufacturing process, but unfortunatley our Environmental Protection Agency wants cleaner fuels. Once diesel is made through the gasoline process it needs further help to meet those requirements thus creating more cost to produce and in turn keeping prices higher. I'm in no way advocating the ridiculous cost of diesel, but it does make sense that diesel is now more expensive than gasoline once you understand the process.

In Owosso Michigan a Speedway has diesel for 3.59. Down the street a station has it for 3.09. I should say had it. They were out as of this morning, and I bet when they get more the price will go up.

Just got home last night...

Got home last night around 11pm. Went to town, small town of Leslie Mi and found our high priced local dealer at $3.59 for diesel. Kinda low (fuel light is on) but will take it to Jackson Kroger to fill up at $3.09 (I hope ) later this morning. I know the dealers scream heating oil shortage etc is what is causing the price increase but sounds like bull *hit to me. I wish somewone could catch the dealers doing this "Price fixing" and hang them out to dry. I know it has to be illegal but someone has to prove it and then get it to a court and get a resolution on it.

JMHO....Don
