So for our trucks were looking at $160 to over $170 to fill from empty.
I'll never be able to save up for the big flat screen tv at this rate.

Wonder how they know?

Big jump overnight in Ewetah too, all stations up .25-.30 cents/gallon.

Makes you wonder how they all know to raise prices at the same time?

Ever hear of the Million Man march???

How about we schedule a Million Truck pushing march??? We can't afford the diesel... so we all get together and push our trucks around DC for a day or two... that should slow trafic down there for a bit!!! Might at least get some media coverage!!!

Diesel hit $4.79 here up .30cents in a day..

I was talking to a few truck drivers and there companies told them if diesel hits $5.00 a gal, they were gonna shut down.. Now these guys drive for big time companies, thats have 1,000's of trucks, thats a crazy thought.. Everyone says if the trucks stop the US stops..

I parked my truck, installed all the goods and now i wont even touch it, i'll fire it up here and there and let it high idle and then shut it down..

It's going to get a lot worse. There hasn't been any promising news in diesel demand in years. Now China has a shortage of coal and is using more diesel to generate power.

here is what i can't figure out.. the people who bid for the oil do they not have to buy their own gas or groceries? shouldn't everyone quitting bidding if the cost gets out of control? have we seen a shortage yet?

forget just driving will we be able to afford to pay for the groceries when we check out? are alternative fuels helping us any or is it making matters worse? since everyone supposedly is now growing corn it just puts everything else at a higher price.

5.31 in petaluma, california. the reason i was told was because china just bought alot of diesel so that if the power went out during the olympics their generators would be able to power everything.

I am SERIOUSLY considering trading the CTD for a gasser. But about the time I do that, Gas will catch up with diesel in price And I will be kicking myself.

$4.98 in northern IN. I'm afraid we will look back in a few months and wish we had prices as reasonable as $5.

We always hear that our government is against increased drilling but we never hear of the individuals that oppose it. If our government is unwilling to do what is best "for the people" then maybe that list of names needs to be published for another solution to surface!

I am tired of these fuel prices but fear it is just beginning. Call me "doom and gloom" if you wish but there are alot of indicators that show otherwise.
