The Mobil I saw was E of 495, around Natick. Since you were heading to NY, I'm guessing you saw the $3.09 in the western part of the state. I won't tell you the Pilot on I-84, just off the Pike is $2.50 according to their web site.

I think I"ll be out this way later this week. Maybe I'll top it off.

It's amazing to look at Flying J or Pilot's web site and see the price differences around the US and Canada.

9/12 i paid like 3.34 for B70 (10 cents cheaper then dyno at the time)
9/21 i paid 2.77 (down to 2.69 now) That was 57 cents in 9 days (more if you compare dyno to dyno and take into account current prices). Not sure whats going on in Utah.

I was just there on Friday and had to take a picture of that sign with my camera phone to show some of my buddies here in Balto. (they told me if I didn't have the pictures, they would not have believed me!)

2.57 is the BEST I can do here in Atlanta!

Distallate stocks are 18% above the 5 year average as of today and we can't even get anywhere NEAR the price of unleaded

It should be well BELOW it!

Supply & Demand

The gasoline market and the diesel fuel market, while related by their parent stock, often differ from each other enough to cause these perplexities surrounding the price at the pump.

All market forces being equal, #2 would certainly be less than unleaded.
