The fuel station I use has finally dropped diesel to 2.50 a gal and it got me to wondering since prices are falling, what is everyone else paying for #2? I'm in Houston and it's a Shell station.

My little corner of the NW is now selling at $2.80 and I can choose between a Shell or a Chevron at that price.

Souther central Mi around Jackson prices at Kroger last night were $2.66 to Meijers and Shell at $2.80. Still a ways to go I guess.

I paid $2.85 Friday, after paying over $3 the end of August. A Mobil on the Mass Pike (90) was still over $3 on Tuesday.

I can't believe others are paying $2.30. Oh, wait, I'm in the northeast. Nevermind.

On our trip to Yellowstone/Boise/Reno we paid 3.40-3.50 in Utah, Wyoming, Oregon, and finally got to $3.08 in Carson city. When we made it to Kingman AZ it was $2.70.

It has been around $2.50 in Phoenix and gas is at $2.20ish.
