Yes, many people do this.

I myself mix Power Service with Lucas,
as they are the readily available supplements around here,
Power Service for the anti-gel and Lucas seems to be more lubricative than PS.

I've always heard it was a bad practice to mix different additives due to potential chemical incompatibity.
Don't think I would consider MMO a real meant for diesel additive though.

I've run the PS/MMO mix for some time. No problems, smooth operation, mileage increase. PS for anti-gel, and cetane boost, MMO for lubricity.

Hello Team and pardon my ignorance but what specific "Power Service" additive are you guys talking about....?? Here in the Gulf Coast I really do not worry about the "geling" because is not really too cold. So do I really need the PS...???

1 - In what proportion are you mixing the PS & MMO...??

2 - When the ULS Diesel hit the streets, adding additives will be more or less important...???

Thanks

Zapata,
I'm running Power Service Diesel Klean @ 16oz per tank. It's not a anti gel like the white bottle but has a higher concentration of injector cleaner and cetane booster.
You can find it at O'Reilly's, Walmart, Tractor Supply, etc....

More important.
The process to remove the sulphur also removes the lubricants from the fuel,
the industry is aware of this and should be adding lubricants before it gets to the pumps,
but are we going to rely on them, or make sure ourselves?
