Burning Fresh (Not Waste) Motor Oil
Can it be done?....
I have an unlimited supply of free oil 10w-40 15-40, 80W90 ATF....etc
Can I burn these fluids fresh right out of the bottle as a mix with diesel?

I'm no expert but I've burnt straight 30 weight and ATF [quart of each] just to make it to a fuel station.
After my swap my fuel gauge decided to quit being accurate and I ran out of fuel on the side of the freeway. Poured a quart of 30 and a quart of ATF and drove her a few miles to the nearest station and filled up!
I don't think you'll be wanting to put 80w90 in there... it's a little thick.

I've seen alot of posts saying not to run ATF in your tank. It because it has friction modifiers in it. Plus I would think it would turn the fuel red. If you get pulled over and dipped the officer might think its offroad fuel. I would stay away from the 80w90 too. You probably could burn clean engine oil as long as it isn't synthetic. 2-stroke oil is another product you can put in your tank, its meant to burn. Lots of guys run the 2-stroke oil.

I can get oil for free (10w30) and 15 40 I was trying to see if I should use this or fork out the $$ for 2 cycle. Just trying to see if the $$ spent on the 2 cycle was worth it when I can get regular oil for free...

Of course you can run clean motor oil. ATF might not be quite as good, but I haven't run any of it in mine to say for sure. You'll just have to decide at what ratio you are comfortable. If I had an infinite free supply of new oil I'd run at least 50% and see how it went on my 3rd gen. My 1st gen ran fine on straight oil with no fuel.
Why wouldn't you run it?

Engine oil is for lubrication. It was not meant to burn. TCW 3 is the way to go.
If the Gen 3 owners manual says you can burn used oil, I would follow those recommendations. Personally, I would not put anything but diesel or 2 stroke oil in the tank(and Power Servce,or similar). If it causes any problem at all, it will be expensive. The gen 1's could burn anything. After that, you are gambling, in my opinion.

I have run about a 50-50 mix of 15-40 on a few tanks. It smoked a little on start up, and egt's seemed to be effected very little. It didn't seem to mind the oil one bit.

I've ran 50/50 plenty of time. The only thing that I noticed is that the stock fuel pump can not keep out with the demand. Which it showed on the last batch. So I just upgraded the fuel pump.
