LOL. I have days where I feel like I'm actually going backwards instead of making progress. I didn't get a whole lot done today, but I did get the inside of the bed 100% done minus the bedliner. Tomorrow I should have more time and I'll get back to the roof problem.

I got one door almost complete fixed today. I was originally going to cut out the rust holes and put in small patch panels, but decided the hell with it and cut out the whole thing.

And here's what I did with that rotten A pillar. I used a sawzal and cut the rust out til it was down to clean metal, wire brushed all the flakes away and hosed it down with a rust converting paint.

It's definitely giving me something to do. I got the driver side almost 100% finished today. I had to shut down early because I have night school tonight. If I hadn't cut short I would have had it completely welded in.

Really really slow. I actually haven't touched it since that last time I posted pics. My wife and I are expecting a baby in a few days so all my time has been invested in preparing for the little one.

Good god man... You have some serious determination... i would have scrapped it soon as i pulled the roof off to fix the rot.
Had you known it was going to be this much (roof wise) would you have just cut the roof off at the pillars and welded on the donor roof as a whole?
Granted, for 300 bucks I would be in the same boat as you. Nothing wrong with this much working into some thing when you paid that little for it... makes the truck more of a part of you
Keep up the good work

The family is doing great. My little girl is getting big quick. Hopefully soon I'll get back to working on the crewcab. I just put a new starter and battery in the 92 cummins the other day so it starts and drives around now, finally. I did a herculiner bedliner kit in my F150 the other day, kind of like my guinea pig to see what it will look like in the crew cab, turned out pretty good.
