Last time I checked a tank it was around 16-17 which was mostly trips to town and back (5 miles each way). My speedo sensor is giving me fits so I've been using the garmin nuvi for a speedometer until I find time to fix it.

Trans is very firm shifting, controller is great for adjustability. Finally got it dialed in the way I like it for regular driving.

For what we use the vehicle for, the turbo is just a touch too big (II SPS62/14). Maybe a 12 exh housing would be better suited? Heck a stock turbo would prob be fine...

Absolutely no EGT problems, don't think it's ever seen 1200 with the Smarty on 7 or 9.

Did you get the engine fan working? How about the A/C? I've been having some issues with my ATS valvebody - won't always shift into 3rd. I think I'll just upgrade to their newer reengineered vb.

Fan is wired up but the only time I've ever heard it speed up is when I manual flip a switch to lock the viscous hub. I just turn it on when running the A/C.

A/C works great finally. Had to jumper around the relay in the engine fuse box, for some reason the ford ECM wouldn't turn it on when the switch was turned to A/C or Max A/C without the gas engine running?

Glad to see you're still driving it around and its doing better than before.

On the turbo I believe you can send it back and have it downsized, but you may be better off selling it and getting a 62/65 12 or 13ss.

If I had time I would mess with it. Been working on my 01 and pullin' this summer...

Just bought a house, close on it in 3 weeks. Then roll to nights for a month of 12 hour days for work. Then I get to move.

Good news is that I will finally get to build a shop I've always dreamed of No more working outside in the driveway.

Well that's how I remember you from before: busy busy busy. Looks like things are going your way. I'd love to have a real shop with a real concrete floor. Enjoy!

bbbxcursion, start a separate build up thread and post a link. We'd all like to see it as you make progress.

Sorry I haven't been around, I've been busy at the shop with other stuff. I have the Helix 2 cam, ARP 625 studs, and F1 springs on the engine. I'm waiting on the freeze plug kit for the head that Dr. Performance has. I have the destroked engine mounts, flex plate, and trans adapter for the 4R100. I have the Silver 64 turbo on the way as well. Once I get it dropped in I'll start a thread. Thanks guys!

Just wanted to know if you are able to get the valve cover off to adjust the valves? Gathering parts to perform the same swap, thanks for the great info and pictures.
