The PCS was easy for me to wire up. I have done alot of computer and wiring work though. It shouldn't be hard for someone that knows the basics. You will need wiring digrams of the vehicle and engine you working with.

I havent got there yet but im doing a 12V in 04 f250 w/ 5r110. I ordered the PCS but thats about it. Do you just wire the PCS directly to the trans or do you use a combination of the old harness and new harness with the PCS? Do want to come over and help Is it a standalone unit or is the engine and pcs tied together?

The 5R110 could be a real challange. Destroked is the only one that I know of that knows how to make that trans work. The reason that trans is hard to do is because it has to release one clutch and apply another one with just the right timing. If that makes sents. The factory computer uses adaptive learning to make it shift right. I was going to use the 5R110 because I had a good low milage one, but Destroked talked me into using the 4R100. I built it with the right parts and it works just fine.
For wiring you should have a harnes that goes from the PCS box to your trans. There will be other wires that need to be hooked into the TPS sensor and you will need engine RPM.

Looks great buddy , I'm still welding on the frame and have not got the intercooler mounted up yet . How did this build compare to the suburban ? Any issues with the suspension ? I know the electronics are a pain in the butt .
I guess you slid the motor in with the body on ... I was talking to a ford guy and he said they lift the bodies off when they replace the powerjokes .
I have a buddy thats considering doing a 24 valve .

The Ford is alot easier to do than the Chevy, more room on the Ford. On the Ford I mooved the trans back almost 4" and still had plenty of room between the engine and firewall. On the Chevy I had to cut the front crossmember to clear the balancer. The frame will have to be cut to clear the AC compressor if you use the Dodge mount. The second crossmember back will have to be lowered or modified.
I had the front springs on the Suburban rearched about 2". Used 3" lift springs on the Ford.
No need to lift the body.
