Found a 99 4x4 EX 2500 V10 with blown motor what would it take to put a first gen cummins in it espically the electronics of it and transmission?

 

1st Gen motors are easy to make work..

3 wires.. one to starter, one to fuel shutoff soleniod, one to alternator.. truck will drive with just that..

you will also need motor mounts.. if you look at www.destroked.com they have motors mounts you can get for trucks.

but to make the wiring and all electricial work, that would take sometime and figuring..

 

You need a ECM and harness from a 98 12V truck with an auto. Otherwise you could make it a manual VB. You will also need an engine adapter from 94-02, 94-02 starter, and a 47re lockup diesel converter.
