Different kind of Swap a sedan!

Okay I have got this crazy idea I would love to take my current daily driver sadly not my 1st gen at the moment its going under the hammers but anyways its a 2001 Chevy cavalier 4 door auto with the 2.2L motor front wheel drive and 320,000 miles on the clock no failure yet synthetic since new so anyways I would love to convert it to rear wheel drive and put a 4bt in it is this plausable or kinda a stupid idea my other idea was drop the cavalier body on a s10 or jimmy frame or something of that nature thanks for any and all replies

I thin k all the fab work involved converting from a FWD to RWD would make the project unadvisable . Maybe look for an older RWD car...like a plymouth Scamp or a dodge aspen/volare.

Not sure if you've checked out this site before...lots of neat projects.

This website is awesome, I've never heard of it. I'm currently looking into swapping a 4BT into my Toyota, and this is the goldmine that I've been looking for. Thanks thrashingcows!

Hey no problem. I came across this site when trying to decide if I was going to swap a 4bt into my 68 Chrysler T/C wagon...still undecided...
