You will also want to look over www.4btswaps.com They not only have 4bt's, but just about any other diesel engine.

This link should take you straight to the page !! I found it at Silicone_Intakes dot com !! You have the option of 4 different IC's and 3 different radiators as well as a remote reservoir, remote fill cap, and I would recommend the installation kit which is also optional !! I really like the kit and would recommend it to everyone; it is straight forward and was not difficult to install !!

Good Luck and let me know if you need help !!

@hulkgreen

Do you have a list of the all parts you have used in your 4.5 jeep project? I am considering your route. If you have a build forum like this one can you post the link?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I did not make a compilation list !! I have kept everything in my head, I have kind of a photographic memory !! If you ask specifically how did you do " this ", what I used or where I got it; I can tell you !!

I have been posting some over on 4btswaps but mostly here !! I use the same username over there !!

Thanks.

On the YJ I was able to quantify a measurable improvement. I also tried VG's on our Liberty CRD but could not convince myself if there was an improvement above the "noise" of normal mpg variations.

The 3.9 and 5.9 were designed to be industrial motors. Using them in an automotive application was an afterthought.

The first-gen Cummins uses a rotary pump, too. Up til Case went with the Fiat version of the B series, they all ran rotary pumps.

The 3.3 is a B series, but it's a whole different animal completely. It's a Komatsu (or some japanese name starting with a K, I always get confused) design, Cummins bought it out, changed it to a B-series.

Same thing happened with the diesel in my Jeep. I have an Onan L-series, which is now labeled as a Cummins A-series, due to Cummins buying out Onan's rights to the engine, and eventually buying Onan outright.
