picked up 6 Alcoas this AM. Went with Freightliner directionals. All in good shape but need a polish pretty bad way.

Nice job on the rims. That glass bead made them look pretty nice from being pretty beat.

Ya turned out pretty good. But The International Dealer in Vernon BC has a rim refinishing machine. Sands and polishes automatically. $60 per rim. refinish to virtually new shine. takes about 45 minutes per rim.

Guess who's taking a trip out to Vernon soon.........

the donor just needs a front clip and it's good to go, but o well conversions are cooler then a plan jane 2nd gen

.......ummm no. the truck is fubar. the only straight steel on it is the hood. the cab C pillar is mashed on the one side. the interior is fubar......... was a ranch truck. its not pretty.


this is my 2nd gen. I don't want another one like it..........I want something different.

the engine donor truck is not supplying the rear diff for this project. It has d70 like every other automatic cummins truck.

When you get your tach working or have info on how to get it working I would be interested as I have a project on a 96 that had a 454 and the tach needs to be hooked up.
