A little bit on the roof but to be honest my brothers a welder and we thought its be easier doing it that way for a couple of reasons..Everything plugged right back in to the firewall which made it a lot easier and i had the newer dash and air conditioning overall it worked out pretty well

I will be doing this conversion sometime soon I hope. I was going to cut out the fire wall dash out of the 93, into the **** 4 door cab, Now afterlooking at yours, it might be easier to do it that way!
Love it

Dodge trucks are thin skinned. What would you want to cut the truck in half for. Ok this guy is a welder great.
I just did my crew cab and you only have to cut the fire wall bulk head connector hole only.
Everything else is a swap bolt in.

I put a '89 12v in my '85 crew a few months back.
I had to cut out the bulkhead wiring hole to move it over a little bit, and a hole for my Clutch hydraulics to go through.
I drove the crew in my garage under 360 power, and back out the garage 3 and a half days later Cummins powered.
I just re-used all my '85 wiring.
I just swapped out a few sensor plugs for the motor, to get Temp and Oil pressure.
Ran the alternator power thru the '85 voltage regular still on the firewall.
The speedo sender screwed right into the t-case as well.
I use it in the summer only so I skipped the grid heater relays.
