1979 Dodge 4x4 1 ton 440 To A Cummins ???

A buddy has a mint 440 motor 1 Ton 1979 4x4 He asked me if you could easily convert to a Cummins we already have a T Case and a A518 Auto .
I have no idea if the cummins will fit in the frame ????

You can make anything fit with a torch and a grinder. Haha. Shouldnt be any problem at all to do that swap. Good luck with it. Any Pictures?

FRames didn't change much from 1972? thru till 1993. Hardest part will probably be the mount for the rad/intercooler and wiring for the wait to start light and water in fuel light, if you want it.

Having a 1989-1993 Cummins part truck would make it much easier, most of it would move over with minimal mods. Or take the body of the wrecked truck and drop the '79 body onto the newer chassis.
