I had me one of those FORD blue ovals spotted at a recent swap-meet.

I was gonna get it, before I left; but, I got otherwise occupied and left without it.

I get all kinds of comments about the DODGE RAM emblem on my crossover.

That is a nice clean install.

I have a 1972 4x4 F-250 waiting on a Cummins.

Those late '70s Ford Highboys were extremely tough, except for the engines, which always seemed to have a burnt valve...

Nice work!! I think those late 1970's Fords were the pinnacle of the Ford truck line, awesome styling and heavy duty everything. In my opinion that is the sweetest Ford diesel I have yet to see.

Nice job! When I was installing mine I thought there was no way it would fit. I never realized how big the engine was. I still have the loose ends to finish but I am doing a few of those each day. I hope to be making smoke in a week or two!

BTW, what did you use for a fuel tank(s)?

Very nice truck! I love the older (pre 79?) body style.

Pre-80.

79 was the last year for that body, then 80-86, then 87 started the bumpers that curved around to the wheel-well and they just kept getting uglier after that.
