I am heading to Baton Rouge LA Wednesday to pick up a 96 12V, then heading to Houston on Saturday.
I plan to sled pull and drag race.

Hey thanks guys. Sorry I've been very busy getting ready, and also driving, haven't been on here much.

I am in a Mont Belvieu Super 8 right now. Got the new truck and towed my truck from Lafayette LA to here. Pulls VERY nice for a stock truck.. Its a 96 12V 5 speed 2x4. We took the AFE racing filter off of my truck and put it on the tow rig for the tow.
Very impressed for a truck with only 215HP..
BTW, this is the FIRST stock 12V I've ever driven..

 

And probably the last time you ever drive it stock... LOL..
Hope to see you Saturday.. We should be in a Silver 01 ExCab 4x4.. with a white/Gray 1st Gen on the trailer.. (Cody's truck.)

I saw your pull saturday Bobcat, it was awesome!! Your trucks wicked!

 

I was the white quad cab that went #4 in line, behind the Duramax, I did 272'. the 'track' needed a little work, but overall, I was very happy with the results, but I do need some traction bars and some more hp

 

Good to meet you Garrett. I met you in the parking lot when you were unloading your 98. Awesome truck and Awesome PULL!!! Very impressive.

And I will second what JDGnut said......your "new" 96 probably won't stay stock for long!! Your GF told me what you paid. Sounds like a bargain!! Congrats!


And MikeyB.....you know now what you would have missed had you not come on out!! Your entering the sled pulls next year right??
